My one year old son has a ball obsession! He loves balls! As soon as he sees a "ball" he says "ball ball ball" over and over again until he gets to hold it, and then he proceeds to throw it and retrieve it (kind of like a dog). The funny thing is that everything is a ball. To name a few: cereal that is ball shaped, grapes, shells, apples (it is almost impossible to eat an apple in front of him), oranges, rocks (we discovered this to be a bit dangerous), balloons, beads, eggs (he loved this at Easter), and gum balls. I love how he has taken such an intense interest in this, and it makes me laugh when he discovers a new "ball" object.
