Portland Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon

My sister and I had a dream to run in a half marathon (maybe someday a full marathon).  So, this year we began training....and took part in the Portland Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon.  At first we were pretty nervous, and we both didn't feel like we were completely ready to run the 13.1 miles.  But....we did much better than we thought, and we are already planning to do it again next year (2014 Seattle Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon)!   It was a great feeling to cross the finish line with my sister next to me!!
