It was our 1st hike of the "season" because we are seasonal hikers. If it is not snowing or raining it is hiking "season". I love hiking with my family though, and last Saturday was the perfect hiking day...sunny! It was still a bit chilly, but hiking really warmed us up. We didn't want to drive too far...so we hiked at one of our favorite close spots - Discovery Park.
Jeffrey isn't a huge hiking fan yet....but we are working on that!

The kids love flying kites! We had a really cool shark kite, but we couldn't find it anywhere. So...the girls made a Fred Meyer plastic bag kite. Well...wasn't quite the same, but at least they were being creative.

I need to know your favorite hiking places around here. (Especially kid friendly!) This one looks beautiful! We had such a lovely hike at Deception Pass today. Chilly but O so much fun to be in the woods. I LOVE IT!!!
