At the beginning of August we got to spend about a week with Matt's parents. It is always special to have them here, and the kids enjoy lots of quality grandparent time! We did a few new things with them, and we kept some of our favorite traditions - like going to the Spaghetti Factory or shopping with Grandma. This time Grandpa did some inside painting for us (he is gifted in this). He painted the family room and Luke's room! We were very blessed, as Matt and I rarely get to any painting in our house! One day we also went to Lake Washington to one of the beaches. We ate lunch, watched the kids swim, and relaxed while observing the beautiful scenery! What special memories!
