It's Asha's Birthday!!!

Asha turned 8 years old this past week. I can remember when she was born back in 2001. We were in Urbana, IL. The day she was born it snowed, and I remember looking out the hospital window thinking life couldn't get better than at that moment. I have seen how this year she has really grown and is maturing into such a kind and gentle girl. She loves caring for her American Girl doll and "stuffed" pets, she loves to design pictures of houses on her sketch diary, she loves to read, and she loves to be a good friend to whom ever she is with. Our sweet sweet Asha!

We had two celebrations for her. My Sister and her family came up for a few days, and we got to celebrate with them. Then a few days later Asha had some friends over from her co-op and church and had a small tea party. There has been much celebrating around here. Luke and Lana's birthday is just days away too. The kids are so excited, Mom is tired and Dad is broke. =)

Here are some pictures of Asha's birthday celebrations:

Asha serving her friends. They all had such good manners. =)

Asha wanted to go ice skating on her birthday. Thankfully all the kids LOVE to ice skate.
Here Trevor is helping out Luke. What a sweet big cousin.

Marissa helping out Lana. Another sweet big cousin.

Jeffrey loved being scooted around by Matt. He is still very wobbly on skates.

There's the birthday girl.

Asha and Annalise - special friends and cousins!

Happy Birthday Asha!!
