Christmas Blues

Christmas came and went and I did not take one single picture to share on my blog! Sorry! This year I had a bit of the Christmas blues. Thanks though to my husband & kids we did put up a beautiful Christmas tree, we did listen to lots of Christmas music, we did continue several Christmas traditions (like going downtown to ride the carousel), we did make lots of yummy Christmas cookies, and we did spend lots of time with our family in Oregon. But...my heart was not completely into it...sadly. This was the first Christmas without my Mom. It just didn't feel the same. My Mom really brought the joy to Christmas. I have so many special memories of Christmas with her! She truly knew what Christmas was all about and it flowed out of her. Maybe next year will be better, but this year was sure different. So, even though I didn't take any pictures there is one picture I would like to share (below). I hope you all had a great Christmas....and I hope you each look to the New Year with excitement and anticipation for what is to come.
