Field Trip
Last week I took the kids on a field trip to the Children's Museum. We had a great time! We played in water, learned about water, made a craft, designed a fort, sorted marshmallows, dug up dinosaur bones, played with a big train set, and much more! There was something fun for everyone....all they needed was a coffee shop in the museum! =)
Jeffrey kept wanting to go back to the water area. He could have stayed there forever!
Asha was proud of her little igloo that she made.
My Cuddle Girl
The other day Asha and I had a funny conversation. It started with her asking me if I would please stop exercising. "Why?" I asked. "Because, Mom, I don't want you to get skinner...then you won't be as cuddly." I had a good laugh (if you know my daughter, you know she is the world's biggest cuddlier). I don't think I will ever be "skinny", but I wouldn't mind being a little bit less "cuddly" in certain places. Hee hee!

Chilly Day at the Beach
It was so sunny and beautiful today that I thought I would try the beach. My kids were excited and before we left they had on their flip flops and sunglasses. I kindly reminded them that it might be pretty chilly there still. Thankfully they listened and even though we enjoyed a short visit, it was still pretty cold and windy. Two of my favorite things about living in Seattle is being close to the city and the beach. So...even though they aren't tropical beaches it still gives us lots to do and look at. Here are some pictures from today.

Jeffrey had fun pushing his truck around and throwing rocks.
"Watch where you throw those rocks Luke!"

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!
I got to spend Valentines Day with six of my favorite people. Each one so precious and unique. We were especially grateful to have my Dad here over the weekend. We had lots of special times talking, remembering my Mom and laughing with the kids. The kids sure love their Opa!

Here is my tall dark and handsome love! =)

Thanks Jenny!
Of course, I had to post about this since it was a first. My first time snowmobiling. What an adventure! It made me feel young....and old! Is that possible? Young because here I was adventuring in the mountains, going at speeds faster than I'd normally go, feeling the wind blow past me, and laughing and bumping around. Yet, the next two days after my body told me I was old. Soreness in my back and arms. =)
What a great time I had though with my dearest friend Jenny and her fun family. This trip was a total blessing to me! Snowmobiling was truly a blast, but the best part of my trip was having so much time to talk with Jenny. Sharing our lives and catching up! I'm so very very blessed to have her in my life! Thanks Jenny for everything!!!

Our Gymnastic's Star
Who is that big boy on the rings? Every Tuesday for almost two years now my son has taken gymnastics. He has had a faithful and patient coach that manages the boys very well! I'm proud of Luke as he works hard each week and seems to have fun doing it. Luke told me that his favorite things to do at gymnastics are jumping on the trampoline and jumping in their big pit (I'm noticing a jumping theme).
