Asha is excited that this Christmas she will be able to sing: "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth, my two front teeth. Gee, if I could only have my two front teeth, then I could wish you a Merry Christmas!" Yep, she has officially lost them! She is also proud that each of the four teeth that she has lost so far have fallen out in different places (this is a big deal for a six year old). The first tooth came out at church, second was at a park, third was at home, and the fourth was at school. Very exciting! Here are some fun shots of my toothless girl!

Christmas Tree Time
This weekend we had our 2nd Annual Family Christmas Tree Hunt at a farm about 30 minutes from our house. Here are some highlights and pictures:
We had a fun time checking out the whole farm on the tractor hay ride.
It was a beautiful day - sunny and clear! Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! Here the girls are ready to go find a tree!
Asha and Daddy carry the tree back to our car. This year we all liked this cute little Blue Spruce (I think that is what it's called).
Last stop was the little store that gave away free candy canes and hot chocolate. Jeffrey was loving his candy cane, which he sported all over his hands, face, coat, and pants. =)
What great memories!

Happy Thanksgiving!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!! In case you can't tell, the kids are holding up their turkeys that they made today. I attempted to do a fun turkey making craft with them (which is pretty amazing since I'm not the most crafty person around). It was fun for all - minus the littlest ONE eating glue, climbing up on the table, throwing crayons all the over the floor, and crying for lunch. =) Lots to be thankful for though!

A Day Of Firsts
Yes, today was a day of several firsts.
***This morning I took all four kids swimming (by myself for the first time), and lived to say it was actually fairly enjoyable! Minus the end when I was trying to get all four kids showered and dressed. Crazy!
***I actually got in my bathing suit too and played in the water! This isn't really a first, but it felt like it because I have not dared to get into a bathing suit for at least two years. Again, lived to say it wasn't too bad. I least I didn't see anyone I knew. =)
***Today my youngest daughter also went on her first play date (without me) to another little girl's house. That was hard to let her go!
***I've started selling things on eBay. It is a bit like a side job because it sure can suck up a lot of time if you allow it to. I'm really enjoying it though, and have already sold several things! Yippee!
***Today I started taking cod liver oil. I hear it is good for boosting energy and your immune system. But, boy does it taste terrible!
I'm sure everyday we have firsts, but to truly recognize them and fully experience them is the key!

"A Mood"
No, we don't normally stuff our kids in over sized coats to make them suffer. Jeffrey just happened to be in "a mood" (a nice way of saying bad mood). But, even when he is in "a mood" he still is the cutest little thing. =) You can't resist picking him up and just kissing him all over his tiny tear streaked face! Yesterday Lana was trying to help Jeffrey get out of his car seat, and she said to me, "Mom, Jeffrey is the cutest in the family." The kids sure love their little brother (most days)!

Halloween
This year for Halloween we didn't really do much, but since Asha had a party at her school we thought we better find her a costume to wear. She went as a gardener! I personally thought her costume was the most original, since most of the kids were dressed as some Disney or TV character. By the way, Asha wanted me to mention that on Halloween she lost her third tooth (upper front tooth). She also was excited that the Tooth Fairy got her a new jump rope. Way to go Tooth Fairy! =)
